At 12:01 am CST – on 01.01.2019 a merger between Ness Plastic Surgery, PA and Omni Facial Plastic Surgery, PA occurred. Omni Medical Center, PLLC is our new company and we are doing business as (DBA) Omni Cosmetic! On November 1st 2019 we opened our beautiful new St. Cloud office to better serve our patients from Central and Western Minnesota.
We have been anticipating and planning for this change for almost a year. NPS has experienced tremendous growth since it’s humble beginning in 2011 when we began the practice with 1.5 employees and 3 cell phones. Our first office was headquartered in Michaela’s van and “home office”. We have come a very long way in 8 years. We now have our building, our own surgical center and a brand-new clinic in St. Cloud. We have developed a great working relationship with Dr. Wayne Jandik and Becca Petersen, CRNA with Central Minnesota Anesthesia Associates. We have grown to 20 employees! We have been setting records in our surgical and nonsurgical services. I find myself frequently answering a favorite patient question, “why should I come here for services?” with “We have an awesome team”. I wouldn’t be truthful if I said that I wasn’t a little sad about losing the NPS brand that was our beginning – but ultimately, I know it is the absolutely right thing to do. “Improving You” also includes “Improving Us.” We are continuing to grow as we provide better care to more patients with an even wider variety of surgical and nonsurgical options.
When Dr.Bryan Rolfes started to work here in the summer of 2016 – we really didn’t know what was going to happen. He wanted to begin his practice in Minnesota, and I was looking for someone to help us move our practice forward by using more of our office space and surgery time. Our initial relationship was best described as “friendly competition” with an office-sharing arrangement. He would have his own business and I would maintain my own business under the same roof. We agreed to help him get started in business and we also agreed it would take some time to get to know each other. He was advertising and I was advertising for the same patients. I have always believed that “a rising tide brings up all boats” – and that the more patients who came to our office was better for all of us. As we all came to discover – he is a very talented surgeon and a genuinely great guy. He is considerate and thoughtful and takes exceptionally great care of his patient and our staff. We are fortunate to have him on this team. So, I took the next step and introduced him to my mom – and she approved! We decided that we could do more together, and we needed to figure out a pathway for a merger and partnership.
