Brow Lift surgery
There are several approaches to brow lift surgery. One of the newer and increasingly popular approaches to the brow is an endoscopic technique. Small incisions are made behind the hairline and the brow can be re-positioned to a more youthful position. Patients who have high hairlines can benefit from an incision made at the edge of the hairline that helps to reduce excess forehead skin and elevated the brow position. A eyebrow lifting technique that is more popular for balding men is done through the eyelid utilizing an Endotine resorbable tack that helps to hold the brow in it’s new position.
A forehead lift is a same-day procedure performed in one of our fully accredited outpatient surgery facilities such as WestHealth in Plymouth, MN, Maple Grove Hospital in Maple Grove, Minnesota, or CentraCare Surgery Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Brow Lift Recovery
Following your brow lift surgery, you will be cared for by the nursing staff in the recovery room. When you are fully awake and comfortable, you will be released to the care of a family member or friend with a list of after-care instructions.
Many brow lift patients return to work after 5-7 days of recovery time at home. There will be guidelines for after-care including lifting restrictions and limited exercise. We will schedule post brow lift surgery follow up appointments in one of our Minneapolis metro area or St. Cloud, MN clinics periodically, including the day after your procedure.
