The Face Lift, also called Rhytidectomy, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that improves the facial appearance by reduce those commonly unwanted signs of aging that settle in as we get older. The face lift is for those with more advanced signs of aging that less invasive treatments can fix, such as deep folds and sagging skin, fallen fat, jowls, and loose skin in the lower portion of the face and into the neck.
In a traditional face lift procedure, the incision typically runs inside the hairline from the temples around the ear and into the lower scalp. Sometimes a secondary incision may be made under the chin to address neck aging issues.
