Micro Laser Peel® is a signature Sciton™ technology and a procedure Omni Cosmetic uses in Minneapolis and Saint Paul to remove the outermost layers of the skin. The treatment uses an Erbium laser to create a skin resurfacing system that delivers light energy to target the upper, more coarse layers of the skin. A computer-assisted laser device is scanned over a treatment area to entirely remove the top layer of damaged skin cells. We love the precision of this technology.

The Sciton Micro Laser Peel® is an outer to mid-epidermal peel to improve skin texture and tone. This peel can safely treat the neck and face as well as chest and hands. The Micro Laser Peel® can be customized to each patient’s individual skin and treatment needs. The treatment can also be combined with other laser treatments as well.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments needed depends on what we are targeting. Most patients need 1-3 treatments to achieve their desired results. This will be discussed with your clinician at your appointment.
What Can I Expect During Treatment?
Thirty minutes prior to your treatments, your clinician will apply a topical numbing cream. During the treatment, many patients experience heat but are generally very comfortable during the treatment. Your skin may be hot for up to 8 hours after your laser treatment and you will need to apply a barrier cream for several days after your treatment.
When Will I See Results?
Your skin will go through a peeling phase that may last up to 7 days, which will reveal healthy new skin. Your skin will continue to improve over time as collagen forms filling in lines, wrinkles, and texture. Discoloration in the skin from sun damage will improve in the first three weeks after treatment.
